this was weird. Three different people were telling me to put work into this show. And then I went and suddenly lots of people were talking about me. Phil Lear, whose work I've been following for a little under a year was there. The pro walked up me and went on about how cool my style was and about people he wanted me to meet. I had no idea who he was until someone called his name. I damn near pissed myself.
A bunch of strangers liked me very much. It made me feel really nice.

It was a strange, surreal, foreign sensation - a unique experience that Im largely unfamiliar with. Im proud of my talent and the work I put into my art, but I dont mean to be hyping for myself or tooting my own horn. If I've fucked this up and the self promotion distracts from the sincerity of the comic, go ahead and let me know.

getting dragged around the gallery by a pretty stranger in a fancy dress made me feel like a champ. Im so used to being outside the art scene, jumping in was almost too much.

Im a small fish. I really am.

Promotion? Naw, it's part of your experiences right?

And if a pretty stranger in a fancy dress dragged me around an art gallery, I'd feel like a champ too.

again, thank you very kindly. I've been reading webcomics occasionally for the past 2 years and I dont even make my own top ten. Im flattered and honored to be your favorite, and I'll try not to let you down.

I thought it was charming that youd want to make a film, (perfect title btw) - then your twit linked me to your youtube channel and .. holy lightning bolts man. you have talent. thats mega radiant work.
