I did this for a year.
Me and Cameron went to wal*mart and looted the joint. Just the bear necessities really. tea, oatmeal, candles, lots of pocky. The criminal twist makes shopping less of a chore. Everytime I go grocery-lifting I sing that song from Aladdin either in my head or out loud to complete the aesthetic. Its a good time.
I dont have a moral problem with the practice. I figure its as good as stolen in the first place, I feel more comfortable jacking it than I do paying forrit. But I dont steal from anything with a face. mom and pops can rest easy.

Cameron is only a little bit taller than me, but i like drawing him as a giant, something about having a little brother thats bigger than me makes me happy.
I save so much money at wal*mart

Why isn't Cameron wearing a fez?

I think he should be wearing a fez.

A little red one.

I've been followed around half the stores I've been in since age 13, with everyone assuming I'm a shoplifter. Never stolen anything from a store. While they're following people like me, people like you are getting away with free food. So, um, on behalf of my people... glad to help?

I stopped yoinking stuff from supermarkets after I taught my younger brothers how to do it, and they did it.... irresponsibly.

Honestly... it isn't a good idea to teach teenagers the finer art of pilfering booze from supermarkets.
Besides, I mostly just stole creme eggs and rubber bouncy balls.
Used to have a huge collection of rubber bouncy balls I'd kinged (i.e. up the sleeve) from all over the country. Also used to supply the entire school rugby team with creme eggs every second Thursday on the way to the field...

... I got to be popular one day a fortnight, briefly.
It is amazing how quickly people start taking things for granted once you do them regularly.

markets tend to watch over their booze and electronics more closely. teenagers on the whole kindof do everything irresponsibly, I like that about them. except when i dont.

I heard it said once, 'the more you for people, the less they will appreciate it'. its a rotten truth.

Yeah, pretty much.

Is why I'm totally random with my generosity these days. So long as I keep maintaining my reputation as a selfish dick, people are really taken aback when I randomly do something nice for them... Makes much more of an impact than all those nice sorts they take for granted on a daily basis.
Not that it is totally random, of course. Mostly I'm only nice to folk when I think they've earned it... even if they don't know why.

But yeah. Teaching teenagers to kingpin booze was not the greatest plan.
(That was the slang we used to use back in west Wales... referring to the old "pick up two, stick one up the sleeve and put the other back" technique.)

I still can't shake you beating up that guy for stealing the bottle of alcohol.

there was a fat distinction in my mind between theft of a person and theft from a corporation. I thought one was unethical but not the other. maybe that was me trying to excuse bad behavior? I dunno, contradictions a'plenty.
